The National Festival of Railway Modelling takes place in Peterborough over the weekend of 18th & 19th October 2008. As well as having 30 quality layouts in a variety of gauges there are a variety of traders in attendance and a specialist shopping area for those hard to source items. Each visitor will receive a free DVD worth £9.99 and if you are there on the Saturday you can see Pete Waterman officially open the show.
In addition, there is a British Railway Modelling Village which will showcase excellence within the hobby and also the BRM Theatre which will host presentations from guest speakers on topics which include starting railway modelling for adults and children, how to construct model buildings, how to construct a baseboard kit and much more.
